Henderson was hired at $200/month and was due to manage the new mill when it opened. The new contract was to be $2500 per annum but he was dismissed without notice. The courts awarded him $600 which was upheld at the Vancouver appeal.

Robert Pickton was tried and convicted for the murders of 6 women, he was charged in the deaths of 20 and confessed to the deaths of 49. He received life in prison without the possibility of parole.
